Zebra House started with a move and became something bigger than a place.

In 2007, a teenager from a small town in Wyoming left home with big dreams, no real map, and a feeling that life had more waiting somewhere else. That chance led him to Oklahoma, where the plan changed, the road got harder, and something unexpected began to take shape.

While working shifts as a co-manager at Journeys, he found a group of friends who quickly became more than friends. Over time, his place became the spot that needed a name. The place people gravitated to after skate sessions, after work, after shows, after long drives, after strange days, and after anything that made them feel like they needed somewhere to land.

Before long, it had a name: Zebra House.

It was never about everyone being the same.

It was about everyone having a place.

Different backgrounds. Different stories. Different stripes. Same room.

Like a zebra’s stripes, no two people who walked through those doors were the same. Some were artists. Some were skaters. Some were musicians. Some were workers, wanderers, explorers, loud ones, quiet ones, and people who just felt built a little different.

What started as a house full of skate sessions, late nights, music, road trips, creativity, and unforgettable memories became something bigger than four walls. It became a mindset built on friendship, individuality, adventure, and the idea that everyone deserves a place where they are accepted.

That is the part worth protecting for generations to come. The part that makes the House a House. The part that makes the name worth carrying forward.

Now, nearly 20 years later, Zebra House Co. carries that same spirit forward through clothing, community, art, music, drops, and the archive we build around it.
